Darla's Dance Studio opened in 1964 in McConnelsville Ohio, while Darla was still in high school. Over the years hundreds of children in this area have danced for Darla and some have gone on to open studios of their own!
Darla's Dancers have won hundreds of awards and have shared the stage with everyone from Miss Ohio to Hank Williams Jr.!
Darlas most popular dance has been the national award winning "Patriotic Medley". Over the years it has been preformed for Presidents, Governors and Senators and at the events listed below:

In 2006 Karlie Sites joined Darla's Dance studio. Darla's Studio in Zanesville and her Competition dancers became known as Kompany Dance.
While dancing under the name Kompany Dance, Darla's cloggers won several awards including an Overall Entertainment Award for her dance "Raise A Ruckus" at Dance USA Nationals in Myrtle Beach, SC in 2007.
Late in 2007, Darla stopped teaching in Zanesville and is now teaching lessons in McConnelsville and Crooksville. She has changed the name of her studio and Competition team back to Darla's Dancers.
